If your car is equipped with an original reversing camera, the CTX-3408 camera decoder is required to retain the camera and make it visible on the new car radio. When installing a new car radio in your Volkswagen from 2013 onwards, you will need the following cable: CTX-3401.

If you have a Volkswagen, Seat, or Skoda built before 2011, additional installation steps are required to prevent the car radio from draining your battery. In that case, we recommend consulting an installation specialist or our installation partner Cartop Automotive, who can perform the installation professionally.

If you have a car built in 2011 or later, the installation is plug-and-play.
