Volkswagen camera interface | Seat Skoda | Retain original camera

Do you currently have an original car radio and reversing camera in your Volkswagen, Seat, or Skoda? Are you planning to replace your current radio and want to retain your reversing camera function on an after-market head unit? With this CTX-3408 reversing camera interface, you can connect your original reversing camera to a universal after-market car radio, also known as Android head units or RNS-look versions.

The CTX-3408 camera interface cable features a video input and a video output. The black female connector is the input for the camera cable in your car. The yellow RCA plug is the video output, which you connect to the camera input of the universal after-market radio. The remaining wires are intended as signal wires, provided the car is not computer-controlled.

Please note: this interface only works correctly with cameras without dynamic parking lines.

Important: the CTX-3408 is not suitable for cars with a manual transmission. This interface is exclusively suitable for compatible vehicles with an automatic transmission.

So, if you are planning to replace one of the following car radios, don't forget to use this interface to retain your original Volkswagen, Seat, or Skoda reversing camera.
