Blue & Me | Alternative
Many Fiat 500 models feature the original Blue & Me system for hands-free calling. When the original car radio is replaced by the Cartronix CTX-116551F, the original Blue & Me system will no longer be available. However, with the new car radio, you can still make hands-free calls, stream music, and use Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Because the onboard computer no longer recognizes the Blue & Me system when the original car radio is removed, the car's odometer may start flashing to indicate that a module is missing. The odometer itself continues to function normally. To resolve the flashing, it may be necessary to disable or reconfigure the Blue & Me module via software. This can be performed by a specialist or dealer, for example.

Original accessories and options
Does your Fiat 500 have an original reversing camera supplied from the factory or by the dealer? If so, it cannot always be connected plug-and-play to the Cartronix CTX-116551F. Depending on the original camera system, a suitable adapter plug or interface may be required.

If your car has an original CD changer, it can no longer be used after the original car radio is removed. It is therefore wise to remove any CDs from the changer before the original radio is disassembled.
