CarPlay YouTube box CTX-777 | Wireless for AUDI | Android 15

Do you have the CarPlay and Android Auto function in your AUDI from model year 2016 onwards and do you find it cumbersome and limited to use? It is now possible to use Apple CarPlay wirelessly, just as Android Auto can be used wirelessly. In addition to the wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto options, the Cartronix CTX-777 Android 15 box has even more fantastic features.

The CTX-777 is a complete Android 15 device that you can now easily operate on your original factory radio. This means that with the purchase of this Android Auto box, you can enjoy all available applications from the Google Play Store. Some examples include Apple CarPlay YouTube, Waze CarPlay, Spotify, Netflix via CarPlay, TikTok, Ziggo Go, and even live television. The possibilities are endless.

The CarPlay box is compatible with all popular smartphones, such as iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and Huawei.

After reading the introduction, you will naturally wonder: does this work for my Audi, how do I install it, what are the specifications and benefits, and what else can I do with it? We are happy to explain this.

For AUDI vehicles with CarPlay
The Cartronix CTX-777 Android 15 CarPlay box is suitable for almost all vehicles with an original CarPlay and/or Android Auto function. This is a requirement to be able to use the CTX-777. The CarPlay box is put into use via the USB port. It does not matter whether you have a USB-C or a standard USB port.

The Cartronix CTX-777 is not an original Audi accessory, but it has been tested and works on the following Audi vehicles with an original CarPlay and/or Android Auto function:

• A3
• A4
• A5
• A6
• A7
• Q2
• Q7
• R8
• TT
• Q5
• e-tron sportback
• e-tron GT

Naturally, the CTX-777 AI box is suitable for more cars and this list is constantly changing because this is a new exclusive feature. You can therefore expect this Android box for YouTube to be used more and more frequently in Audi vehicles. Also of importance is that the screen on which the CarPlay AI Box is used must have a touchscreen. Only in this way is it possible to make optimal use of the CarPlay Wireless Box.

Many car models from 2016 and newer have wired capability for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard; the Cartronix CTX-777 is suitable for use in 99% of these cases. In some Kia and Hyundai cars, this is already possible from 2015. You can, of course, always check with your car dealer to see if your car has CarPlay or Android Auto.

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have a CarPlay function in your car, this item is not suitable for your vehicle. If your original screen does not have a touchscreen capability, you can still use the CarPlay box, but you will not be able to utilize it to its full potential.

Endless choices and possibilities
The biggest advantage, in addition to the fact that Android Auto and Apple CarPlay can be used wirelessly, is the fact that from now on you have access to the full Google Play Store from your car. The only thing you need to do for this is to connect the CTX-777 to the hotspot function of your phone. From the moment the Wi-Fi connection is established, you can enjoy crystal-clear YouTube images, Netflix, and Ziggo Go live television. But it doesn't stop there; you can now also stream live internet radio, listen to podcasts, or open any navigation application.

PLEASE NOTE: Watching video images while driving is punishable and life-threatening. The mentioned features that support video playback are intended for passengers and/or use in a stationary car. Our customers are particularly pleased with the fact that the sound quality in your car, as well as the image quality, remains as good as you are accustomed to.
