This Cartronix car radio is specifically designed for Volkswagen cars from model years 2002 to 2008. Please note the following points of attention:

If you have a Volkswagen, Seat, or Skoda from before 2011, additional installation steps are required to prevent the car radio from draining your battery. In that case, we recommend consulting an installation specialist or our installation partner, Cartop Automotive; they can perform the installation professionally.

If you have a car from the 2011 model year or later, the installation is plug-and-play.

If your car is equipped with an original rear-view camera, the CTX-3408 camera decoder is required to retain the camera and make it visible on the new car radio. When installing a new car radio in your Volkswagen from 2013 onwards, you will need the following cable: CTX-3401.
