CarPlay YouTube box CTX-777 | Wireless for Mercedes-Benz | Android 15

Do you have the CarPlay and Android Auto function in your Mercedes-Benz from 2016 or later, but find it cumbersome and limited to use? From now on, it is possible to use Apple CarPlay wirelessly, just as you can use Android Auto wirelessly. In addition to the wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto options, the Cartronix CTX-777 Android 15 box has even more fantastic features.

The CTX-777 is a complete Android 15 device that you can now easily operate on your original factory radio. This means that by purchasing this Android Auto box, you can enjoy all the applications available in the Google Play Store. A few examples include Apple CarPlay YouTube, Waze CarPlay, Spotify, Netflix via CarPlay, TikTok, Ziggo Go, and even live television. The possibilities are endless.

The CarPlay box is compatible with all popular smartphones, such as iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, and Huawei.

After reading the introduction, you will naturally wonder if this also works for your Mercedes-Benz, how to install it, what the specifications and benefits are, and what else you can do with it. We are happy to explain this.

For Mercedes-Benz vehicles with CarPlay
The Cartronix CTX-777 Android 15 CarPlay box is suitable for almost all vehicles with an original CarPlay and/or Android Auto function. This is a requirement to be able to use the CTX-777. The CarPlay box is therefore used via the USB port. It does not matter whether you have a USB-C or a standard USB port.

The Cartronix CTX-777 is not an original Mercedes-Benz accessory, but it has already been tested for functionality on the following Mercedes-Benz vehicles with an original CarPlay and/or Android Auto function:

• B-Class
• CLS-Class
• E-Class Cabriolet
• E-Class Coupe
• GLA-Class
• GLE-Class
• E-Class
• GLS-Class
• SL-Class
• GLS-Class
• S-Class
• C-Class

Naturally, the CTX-777 AI box is suitable for more cars, and this list is constantly changing because this is a new exclusive feature. You can therefore expect that this Android box for YouTube will be usable in an increasing number of Mercedes-Benz vehicles. What is also important is that the screen on which the CarPlay AI Box is used must have touchscreen functionality. Only in this way is it possible to make optimal use of the CarPlay Wireless Box.

Many car models from 2016 and newer have a standard wired option for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the Cartronix CTX-777 is suitable for use in 99% of these cases. In some Mercedes-Benz and Hyundai cars, this is already possible from 2015 onwards. You can, of course, always check with your car dealer whether your car has CarPlay or Android Auto.

Endless choice and possibilities
The biggest advantage, besides being able to use Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wirelessly, is the fact that you now have access to the full Google Play Store from your car. All you need to do is connect the CTX-777 to your phone's hotspot function. From the moment the Wi-Fi connection is established, you can enjoy crisp YouTube images, Netflix, and Ziggo Go live television. But it doesn't stop there; you can now also stream live internet radio, listen to podcasts, or open any navigation application.

PLEASE NOTE: Watching video images while driving is illegal and life-threatening. The mentioned features that support video playback are intended for passengers and/or for use in a stationary car. Our customers are particularly impressed by the fact that the sound quality in your car, as well as the image quality, remains just as good as you are used to.
