First, of course, via AM or FM, but also by using DAB+. If you already know that you want to use DAB+ because of the many radio stations and the sound quality, you will need the CTX-3354 DAB+ antenna and adapter for this radio. These are sold separately.

Free navigation and updates
With the Cartronix CTX-118909, it is very easy to drive to your destination. If you choose online, you have the choice of, for example, Google Maps. However, if you look in the Google Play Store, you will see that there are many more options for navigating online. An example of this is Waze. With such applications, you can navigate offline and update the maps for free.

This radio comes standard with an offline navigation program with which you can navigate without additional costs thanks to the included GPS receiver. The navigation can be set in various languages, including Dutch, French, and English.

Self-assembly and installation
Although this device is not a factory Seat radio, this car radio has been specially designed by Cartronix for Volkswagen car models. It is the perfect replacement for the car radio installed as standard at the factory. Installing the Cartronix CTX-118909 does not require technical knowledge.

If you have a Volkswagen, Seat, or Skoda from before 2011, you will need to perform additional steps during installation to prevent the car radio from draining your battery. In that case, we recommend that you consult an installation specialist or our installation partner Cartop Automotive; they can carry out the installation professionally.

If you have a car from 2011 or later, the installation is plug-and-play.

Original accessories and options

If your car has a reversing camera originally supplied by the dealer, you should note that it cannot be connected plug-and-play. To connect the camera, you need an adapter cable that connects the original camera to an RCA plug. If your car has a CD changer, you will no longer be able to use it after removing the original radio. It is therefore advisable to remove the CDs from the changer before removing the radio.
